Choral Singing At Its Best

Lyrical was formed and began singing together in January 2019 and was the brainchild of Trent Harris and Philip Mitchell who between them decided to create a small group of local talented singers, musicians and friends who just love singing together in 4-part harmony.

The philosophy of the group is not to be restricted to any one particular genre of music.  There is, however, one overriding requirement - the music must be beautiful and must appeal to a broad cross-section of musical tastes.  We aim to put on three main shows each year - our spring concert is usually in May, our autumn spectacular is in October and our Christmas festive show in early December.

We are always happy to welcome new singers to Lyrical, whether you are a soprano, alto, tenor or bass.  

If you would like to be considered to be included in our happy group of singers you will need to be able to read music, reside permanently in the area and pass a simple vocal audition.  

If you're unable to read music then our Musical Director 

is always happy to guide and help you get to grips with the basic fundamentals.
